Tasha Elena Stevens-Vallecillo
Tasha is Head of Land and Food at 42 Acres and supports vision-holding across our 173 acre site, stewarding our intention to live in harmony with self, nature and others. Tasha holds various agri-wilding and farming practices across the site, from producing outdoor, native, medicinal, wild mushroom strains to growing sea buckthorn, nut trees, edible hedges, medicinal perennials and regenerative beekeeping.
Russell Rigler
I am the Head Ornamental Gardener at 42 Acres. My role is to create and maintain beautiful spaces where people can focus on self-reflection, diversify their diet, engage with nature and connect with others in a meaningful way. I love conveying a feeling with plants, whilst creating a haven for wildlife and opening eyes to what is edible in the garden.
Molly Armstrong
As a gardener and grower at 42 Acres I have experienced a vast abundance of wild and forage-able foods, and practised progressive and ancient methods of growing and wild-tending. I love the fact that we are one of very few outdoor growers of edible and medicinal mushrooms - resulting in vastly more nutrient-dense and sustainable fruit. I love taking our guests out on our land and sharing how to safely and sustainably forage. And, Iām in charge of decorating the house for Christmas!
David McKenna
David is the Head Grower at 42 Acres produce garden, having worked in fruit and veg production for many years. He studied ecology at Uni and is passionate about soil health. He ultimately moved into farming where he felt he could make the most difference. Dave loves sharing his knowledge and experience so come find him in the produce garden.
Rafal Bartnicki
A member of the maintenance team, Raf also helps to look after our bees and works on the land. As a Slavic Pagan, he enjoys observing and being part of nature as well as being part of the fire-cooking team which gives him the opportunity to connect with his hobby-bushcraft. He says, "Most of us at 42 Acres have found our own space here - what we are doing is growing food and connecting to nature, building community and making our own big family."
Jedidiah Gordon-Moran
Jed has been working as a food grower for three years but has always had an interest in the environment and local food systems. He is also a licensed architect, photographer, and home cook. In 42 Acres, he has found a place where he can combine these pursuits.
Jed is passionate about seasonal food and the delicious, beautiful possibilities that come from growing a diversity of crops and varieties. He is looking forward to strengthening the connections between the 42 Acres market garden, kitchen, and wider community.
